Your mail stays on your device

MailPacket processes source EML/MBOX files in your browser. Original mail, message text, attachments and generated document bytes are not sent to our server by the supported tool workflow.

Local work and downloads

The browser can save your work in IndexedDB to help preserve it through checkout. You can delete saved work using the workbench. Private browsing, device cleanup or browser settings may clear it. An exported work file contains original mail and remains under your control; keep it private. Recovery of a payment does not recover mail from our server.

Orders and payment

Checkout sends your entered checkout email, name and an order request to our server and payment provider. Card information is entered on the provider's checkout and is not handled by MailPacket. Order identifiers, amount, currency and verified payment status support fulfillment, recovery, refunds and reconciliation. This release does not send receipt or recovery emails; save the downloadable order reference. The payment-session cookie expires after seven days and can end sooner if browser data is cleared. Only authorized administration can access order records.

Technical and usage information

We record a small allowlist of tool event names to understand whether inspection, samples, checkout and delivery are working. Document names, message content, attachment names and the contents of form fields are excluded from those events. Hosting and payment providers may maintain technical/security logs under their own policies. This release has no advertising cookies, session replay or marketing mailing list.
